This website is owned and operated by IRC. The information on this website is for general and educational purposes only. IRC grants permission to registered users to login at the training portal and to download and copy the information, documents and materials from the training portal for the user’s personal, non-commercial use, without any right to resell or redistribute them or to compile or create derivative works there from. For any other than personal use IRC has to give prior written permission, and full citation to the source has to be given. All rights reserved.

IRC is committed to upholding all legislative requirements in regards to data protection and privacy. This statement will outline our privacy practices in association with this website. If you do not agree with or you are not comfortable with any aspect of the Privacy and Cookie Statement, your only remedy is to discontinue the use of this website.

Personal information we may collect

IRC may collect personal information which we receive when you:

  • Register for an online training course.

When registering for an online course

When you choose to follow a specific free online training course on this website. For you to be able to sign in, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. We may collect the following types of information:

  • First Name
  • Surname
  • Email address
  • Job title
  • Company
  • Work Address
  • Work City
  • Country
  • Work Postal Code

How will we use your data?

  • Your learner data (first/last name and email) will be stored on IRC’s Learner Management System (LMS) to enable you to access the online learning service, complete courses, answer questionnaires, access resources, record learning progress and download personalised certificates.
  • To notify you about changes to our service and trainings.

You will have three months to complete the online training course. After 1 year, access to the courses and training service will no longer be available and we will:

  • Permanently delete your account, personal information, your learner data, your training history and certificates from the LMS.
  • Retain your key contact details on the internal CRM system.

When visiting this training website

When you look at this website, our server makes a record of your visit and logs the following information:

  • Your IP-address.
  • Time and date of your visit.
  • Pages accessed and courses viewed.

The data listed above is collected for the following purposes:

  • As part of our efforts to keep our website safe and secure.
  • Track your activity on our training platform.
  • Your journey through our training platform, including your progress when following one of the online courses.

No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities, except in the unlikely event that a law enforcement (or other government) agency exercises a legal authority to inspect ISP logs (e.g., by warrant, subpoena or notice to produce).

When registered for a course you will be provided with a username and password, which can be used to access and make any changes to your personal information. You will have the opportunity to Opt-Out of the registered course at any time. 

We encourage you to promptly update your personal information when it changes.

You can always contact us to correct, update or delete your personal information at any time by e-mailing us at the below e-mail address or clicking the link (contact data protection officer) within your account. Please include your name, address and email address when you contact us as this helps us to ensure that we accept amendments only from the correct person.

IRC courses and services are not directed to children and IRC does not knowingly collect online personal information from children under the age of 16. If you are a parent or guardian of a minor under the age of 16 and believe that he or she has disclosed personal information to us, please contact us.
